We confirmed 6: Des Lux Hotel, Wildwood Lodge Clive, AmericInn by Wyndham Ankeny/Des Moines, Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Des Moines West and 2 more.
How do I make sure I get the tub room?
Book the named room type, not a standard king, then ask the hotel to confirm the tub the day before.
Is the tub in the room or by the pool?
In the room. We leave out hotels where the only hot tub is by the pool or the gym.
